Mixing Engineer for the short movie "Better Days"
Second collaboration with the Royal Television Society Award Winner for Best Sound, Lewis Jones, this short movie has been probably one of the most interesting, audio wise. This is not yet another Zombie Movie, it is a somewhat tragic and funny film, with very dark tones and visuals. My mix reflected that world, enhancing the with rawness of the sound design and playing with the ambiences to create sonic imperceptible changes that all contribute to the flow of the film. Experimentation in this movie has been a key word, especially during the transitions between the scenes, where one sound dissolves and/or mutates into another one, transporting the audience to a new scene without them even realizing it.
